You’ve Gotta Love Cricket with Lay’s new Prego Sauce flavour
Lay’s is celebrating its partnership of the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 by launching Lay’s Prego Sauce, a new delectably tangy flavour, which complements the existing light and crispy delicious Lay’s Potato chip range.
As an official partner of the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup being hosted in Australia and New Zealand over February / March 2015, Lay’s is highlighting South African’s love for cricket and rewarding fans via an engaging You’ve Gotta Love Cricket campaign. Lay’s fans now have a new tasty Prego Sauce flavour to add to their snacking repertoire and enjoy while settling in to watch all the cricket action.
In addition Lay’s is offering one lucky fan and a partner a chance to win a set of VIP tickets to the ICC Cricket World Cup final on 29 March 2015 *.
In order to rally support for the local team and get fans excited about the upcoming 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup, limited edition Lay’s large bags will feature South African cricket icon, AB de Villiers, who will also appear in a fun Lay’s television commercial. The commercial showcases the degree to which a true Lay’s fan will go through to get their hands on a delicious light and crispy pack of Lay’s.
Lay’s has also launched an interactive roadshow dubbed Cricket in the Net, which will travel across the country between February and March 2015. Visitors to the roadshow can engage with local cricket heroes while they try out the new Lay’s Prego Sauce flavour. There will also be opportunities to win some fun prizes by bowling out the Lay’s Howzat umpires at the pop-up cricket nets.
